Paper statements
If you're enrolled in paper, copies arrive by mail — but use the PDF, not a scan of the paper: the PDF carries the text layer parsers read, and scanned copies have none.

What a TD Bank statement looks like — sample layout, section by section
Reconstructed below from statements we've parsed, personal and business checking alike. The structure is real; the names, account numbers and amounts are masked and fictional.
Header, period and balances
Account details, the statement period, and the beginning/ending balances. One quirk we handle when converting: TD's PDF text layer often runs words together with no spaces — generic tools garble it, a TD-tuned template doesn't.
Daily Account Activity — five sections
Deposits, Electronic Payments, Checks Paid (two checks per printed row, each with its serial number), Service Charges, and Other Withdrawals. Every amount prints positive — the direction lives in the section header, not a minus sign.
Daily Balance Summary
TD lists the end-of-day balance for every day of the period. Our converter replays it day by day: beginning balance ± each day's activity must equal TD's own number, so a missing row or a misread digit cannot slip through.
